    God's blessings pouring down!

We had an incredible service last night! The best tape service I've ever been in! The best service since camp (actually I have to say it topped camp for my personally). And then I got a nice surprise after service too. But service last night was the highlight! 59-0609 What Hearest Thou, Elijah? Brother Branham at the end of the service started singing Nearer My God To Thee, which I have apparently never heard. Which is an awsome song! They were singing it in the Congo a lot when I was there and I totally fell in love with it but didn't know what they were singing because it was in French or Lingala. Anyway it was great!

  • True Contentment Is Exhilarating

True and total contentment is exhilarating! I mean it totally is! Think about it... it's the most peaceful, serene, beautiful, motivating, energizing, exciting feeling! It's a rest! A calm! A peace! Wow! I'm inspired! Can you tell?

Content with the bed we are sleeping in, the food we are eating, the car we drive, the work we work at, the family we have, the church we attend, the friends we have, the world we live in! Being satisfied with what we have, what is around us, what we see, taste, hear, smell, feel! Just a rest in God!

It's like no other feeling! I'd even venture to say its on the level of love! I think it's very close anyway!

Take the time to step away from everything and just count your blessings! Realize that we have all eternity (no time constraints) to enjoy what the Lord has made for us and what we can do for Him!

Can you tell? I'm inspired! True contentment is exhilarating! Just take it in! Soak up that feeling of contentment! Enjoy it! God is good!

    Philippians 4:10-13
    10
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
    11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
    12
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
    13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  • The latest happenings...

This week has been rather busy and exciting! You know... a thought I had last night while washing dishes... it is so totally exhilarating to be totally and truly content and satisfied! If you go from day to day, pursuing goals, dreams, passions a vision but not anxious about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year... it is such a wonderful state of mind and feeling! I've been blessed friends! Totally blessed! :)

Oh yes... I was going to tell you about my week...

Monday: Attended an Honors class at the University of Arizona on leadership! I've got a friend that is in this class and he was telling me about how interesting it all is. As you all know I love this subject matter and read/study/think about quite a bit. Anyway my friend talked to the professor about setting in on the class and he said, "He can do more then sit in, he can participate!" The professor was thrilled that someone that wasn't even a UofA student was interested in the class! The professor also has helped start a business (and does some consulting in that field) of something I'm interested in doing. It looks like he is willing to be a mentor/coach to me for getting into the industry. So I'm really excited about that! We'll see how the Lord leads.

Wow! That was just 1 hour of the morning of Monday. :D We'll move on to the rest of the week.

Brother Green mentioned Wednesday night while in his office that Brother McHughes invited him to give his testimony over at Northside Fellowship on Sunday the 24th! I'm really excited about that (even though it means we'll probably video it, which means quite a bit of work... :/ ). But still exciting none the less!

Last night I went to pay some bills that I thought were due on Saturday and the one was due yesterday... and I was 90 minutes past the cut off time. I sure hope I have a high "good customer" rating so that they'll wave the late fee. So far the payment posted to the account without a late fee so I'm hoping...! :D

Yesterday I worked for dad and planning on doing the same today. The current task I was assigned was cleaning out a trailer of stuff that the renter left behind. There is an old dark room set of equipment and other camera equipment.

And since about 4 AM maybe... it's been raining here. Snow level is supposed to be at 3000 feet! I'm not sure if we'll get much work done today. Maybe I'll go do some video editing at the office instead
